WHAT TO EXPECT

We are a passionate group of believers who love to worship and lift each other up in scripture and encouragement.  You won’t find a friendlier group of people around who strive to present exciting and family oriented worship to God.

When you arrive you’ll be welcomed by our friendly Greeters who will show you around and make sure you’re needs are attended to.  Nursery and Children’s Church is available upon arrival.  You can sign your kids in with our talented and loving volunteers who will take care of your children as if they were their own.  Should your child need you before you return, you will be contacted via text message.

Upon entering the Sanctuary you’ll be greeted by warm smiles and a comfortable atmosphere of fellowship.  At 10:30 a.m. the Worship Team will start off with a song of praise and invite you to worship from right where you are sitting or standing.  After the first song someone will come up on stage, welcome the congregation, and give you any announcements about events going on or coming up at Family Church.

After the Welcome & Announcements, the Worship Team will continue to lead a few songs of Worship.  We encourage you to use this time to pray, give thanks to the Lord, and engage in your relationship with Jesus Christ our Saviour.  The Musical Worship portion could be 20-30 minutes or longer depending on the given engagement and intimacy at that point in time any given morning.  It is a special time we don’t want to take for granted.

Following the Musical Worship time, a Leader will come up and encourage giving through Tithes & Offering.  This is an opportunity to give thanks, honor Him, and express faith for what God has done and will do in our lives, as well as contribute to the cause of Family Church by supporting the facilities and logistics.

Next is the Message.  You will be taught and encouraged through Biblical stories and scriptures as well as humorous anecdotes and situations given by our seasoned and compassionate Pastors –  usually our Lead Pastor (Seth Sasan) or Executive Pastor (Darnell Simmons).  They are excellent Shepherds – always loving, expository, and encouraging men who genuinely care about you, your family, and your relationship with our Heavenly Father.

We end with a short song and a proclamation of scripture reflecting our lives, our church, and our homes: Joshua 24:15 “…as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”
